OUR STORY

Down in the basement of The Horizon Enterprise Building, The Downbeat Bar is built on music—live sets, DJs, playlists, and listening-centered experiences that feed the soul. An elegant, low-lit room below street level, designed to transport Portland’s BIPOC community and friends. We’re guided by cultural lineage and the after-hours: polished and raw, holy and heavy. Where craft matters; cocktails with intent, everyday food refined, and sound you feel in your chest.
